I haven't had fast food in nearly a month. I'd gotten stuck in this phase where I didn't care about what I ate.
I ate pizza and fries and other unhealthy junk everyday.
Now I've decided to eat healthy and I feel good about it.
Sometimes it's more expensive to eat healthy, but it's worth it.
I'm not counting calories at all. I'm just going to concentrate on changing one thing at a time. Hopefully my new healthy eating will lower my weight naturally.
I don't feel deprived either. If I'm peckish I eat some blueberries in yogurt, a slice of toast with Marmite, an apple or a handful of almonds or something like that.
:-)

Deneb, have you ever tried almonds stuffed in dates?? They are DIVINE!! Walnuts are just as good. I'm so glad you're eating healthy. Eating healthy changes my mental attitude a lot. I feel a lot more optimistic about life not to mention more energetic.I just went through a few months of emotional eating where I ate quite a bit of junk food. All I wanted to do was sleep. But now that I'm eating lots of fruits and veggies again, I want to take walks and get more things accomplished.
