What other board?
What other groups are under the blankie?
Are ALL internet groups covered?
Are ALL real life groups covered?
Where is this spelled out in the rules please?
Is it still okay to excorciate one's therapist? mother-in -law? pharmacist? least favorite poet? automobile? Are any individuals besides politicians under the blanket of civility?
Are any groups anywhere outside of the blanket?
I await your reply.

> Dr. Bob long ago extended the civility blanket from this board to the other board. Because there is a fair amount of overlap of posters. So the rules say that you can't say anything about people on that board that you can't say about people on this board. Even if you don't name that board specifically or any posters from that board specifically.

Thanks notfred but that's not what I was talking about. The board in question is a nonBabble board that someone posted about on Babble. I found it curious that Dinah believes it to be also covered by Dr Bob's rules. I had never heard of anything like that. I am just seeking clarification. I would like to know the name of the board and which if any other boards are also covered by this new rule.
I don't understand how it can be civil to post unkind things about individuals but it is.... at least under Babble rules. Why is it any different if they happen to post on another internet forum somewhere? And how are people supposed to know if it is not in the rules?

It's on the psychology board. I just redirected my question to admin. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I think the rule is that you can't be un-civil *about* other websites / boards..
and you also can't post a link to a website / board that is uncivil..Its not that one has to be civil on other boards
I hope that makes it clearer

Thanks. Maybe that is what the rule is. However would one know on Babble? Which leads to various interesting interpretations I suppose.
You are nice people but this board is franklyunusual.
