Ok first my apologies to people who use trazadone and find it works, this is just my opinion and rant sorry.
Ok so here we are in desperate need of a new pipeline drug since the ones out arent cutting it,were all suffering and what comes out,OLEPTRO
so while we think they are working on a new style effective med they are working on EXTENDED RELEASE TRAZADONE! WHAT THE HELL
Trazadone is a very old med,a dirty one with tons of side effects one being your penis can get hard so bad you have to go er,its really nothing more then a terrable sedating sleep med,and this is what were waiting for,im so mad sorry.

Depends on your symptoms. Trazodone is good for sleep and anxiety.

I agree with you. When it comes to anxiety and insomnia there are no real long-term options. Yeah, you can take benzos for a couple weeks and they will help anxiety and then they stop working. For insomnia, you can take remeron or one of the antipsychotics and gain 100 lbs or more and get diabetes and die early. It's BS that there aren't any real options, but millions of people are suffering and not able to live a decent life.

OMG, I am recently off benzodiazapines, and I am struggling. I've started ERP therapy, and we're working on tolerance of the sensation (discomfort!). Lyrica helps quite a bit, but it's quite a trade-off.

Why off them if they work? Lyrica is addictive also. With more side effects unless more is known now. Phillipa

Hey there. How is the anxiety level? Have you found anything moderately helpful?

Hi,
My anxiety has been awful for the longest time. Nothing has helped it except sleep deprivation, unfortunately. Have you had any luck?

Problem is almost anything that works is addictive,i look at it two ways,is there anything worth suffering, second if its addicting and helps, the help is more important and that means its time to take on serious moderation and conrtol of it.Anything that works to me,addictive or not,is priceless.

Hi Willyee,
I think some people do get better on regular non-addictive medications.
I think that other people have addictive personalities (myself included) and our brains just get bored and depressed when things are normal.
I know for myself, if I don't feel really good, I get depressed. I follow the things that make me feel good. I tend to take risks that lead to reward. Some people's brains are wired like that and the SSRI just doesn't replace the animal spirits that these people are used to feeling good from.

Well my most important tool is parnate, and i believe its addicting medication,i know you and many wont agree but ive come to believe anything that actualy works and works well has the potential to be addicting.

Hey,
try N-acetyl Glucosamine for anxiety! I think its cool. It may even be antipychotic for me.

And i am waiting for Glyx-13 and NRX-1074. Not trazodone XR, haha. www.naurex.com
It put me to sleep on Nardil. I was cycling different meds for sleep including Ambien, Neurontin and a low potency antipsychotic from Germany.
Check out NAG for anxiety, seriously! Its good.
