Currently i take
Temazepam 30mg
Clonazepam 2mg nightlyOk, i cant go back to sleep.
I feel like I took some Halcion and having withdrawl.
Should i really consider just going back to normal sleep patterns?

You should try Seroquel Matt, I think it would help sleep, anger , anxiety issues a lot.

Hey! Even though its pretty common for sleeping pills to be given long-term, most of them don't work so well after 14 days, and the effects is largely lost after a couple of months. You might want to try adjusting your sleep schedule with what you're taking now, and then work on tapering the meds a bit. As for you anger...I wouldn't take seroquel, or add anything, really; just go easy on antidepressants and stimulants, and avoid excessive benzos (they can unleash pent up rage).

Are you having weird sleeppatterns? If so,what?
Otherwise, your taking a lot of good stuff to get you to stay asleep -- and it should keep you asleep!
Next step up is antipsychotics....

Absolutely not true.(Excessive) Catabolism takes place in the first month....then after that the liver settles down and the dose levels out.
Contrary to benzo-phobes....the common tendency for sensible benzo users is to LOWER their dose over time!!!!

benzos used for *anti-anxiety* purposes can usually be stabilized for long-term use; users can get pretty much the same benefits from pretty much the same dose for a long, long time. HOwever, the sedative/hypnotic effects of benzos tend to dissipate rather quickly; this is true of most sleep aids (except some of the new ones, which are approved for long term use), which is why most are officially approved only for short-term use.

I believe stress levels really affect how your benzos work. When my stress is really high no matter how high a dose I take I wake-up. Fondly, Phillipa

>Hey,
Jump out of bed and start the day. I know, much easier said than done! I've had some insomnia lately too. I take Nardil-75mg and clonazepam-1mg. The benzo still helps with anxiety but the sleep aid effect wore off long ago. It's now 3:00am here and I'm still up on the computer. Diphenhydramine HCL (Benadryl) works for many people, including myself. I can't use it every night or I build up tolerance to the somnolence side effect. I can use it for about four or five nights then lay off for a few days. At least it is over the counter and cheap. My insurance charges $5 for the old generics such as clonazepam and $30 for the new designer drugs. This can make quite a difference if your on several medications.
Sleep well,
Jedi
