Hello. I am on Lamictal and suffering from hair loss. I started taking selenium and zinc. Problem is I don't know how much to take. I knew there are people on this group who take it .... what is the right amount. How much is TOO much?
Thanks.

Selenium 200-400 mcg (that's micrograms). More than 600 mcg is probably too much.
You could safely take the higher levels for a brief period.

The above is a site I found with information on Selenium including which foods contain selenium and how much.

Thanks Larry - I have only been taking 50mcg of selenium with 50mg of zinc. My hair is still falling out. So hopefully an increase with the selenium will help.
Thanks again.
