Susan,
Hasn't human nature adapted to society's pressures so much so that we now have girls born to "be" girls, and boys born to "be" boys. I would have let my son play with dolls if he wanted to, but he would rather play with a football. I found a Victoria's Secret catalog in his room when he was 7, Internet porn pictures when he was 8. I even explained that average everyday women that he would be encountering in his life were not like those pictures, but it was no use. Yes, society has spoken. I just fear that it has spoken so often, and so loudly that it's no longer a matter of setting the record straight. It's painfully apparent that in the story above, some of us are simply "born" with the desire to please the eye instead of the ear.I don't know. I talk in circles.
Sadly enough, I'm the subject of the story, and I am embarassed at myself.
Joan
By the way, nice to chat with you again Susan
