God, this is an all-too-familiar scenario. I've gotten to point at times when the two most dreaded times of day were going to bed (knowing I wouldn't sleep) and getting up in the dark and cold for work (having not slept). You captured this scenario, and the sense of being caught in an endless cycle of meaningless despair, all too well. ;) Atticus
