poem ... Warm Glow

Warm Glow

The Subcommittee
Had no pity,
And it figured
*ss would crack.
He named names,
He laid the blame,
Left F*ck and Sh*t
Stabbed in the back.
Motherf*cker
Just felt suckered,
Said they’d been played,
This thing was wack.
And humble P*ssed
Was also dissed
As Senate censure
Brought him flack.

The hearing’s chairman,
An unfair man,
Waved a list
He said would show
All the obscenity
That must be remedied,
All the profanity
That must go.
Folks must be saved
From words depraved
Enough to bring
The nation low,
So books burned,
Each one in turn,
And Congress enjoyed
The warm glow.
