Gorgeous imagery and your keen eye for atmospheric detail. You write haiku, just not in the traditional haiku form. Which I like, because I don't adhere to any particular form in my own poems, mixing rhythm and rhyme with free verse and storytelling at will. This poem in particular, though, really captures a moment in time vividly for all the senses. ;) Atticus
