Thanks, Poet, I appreciate the response. The one I am dealing with is not only passive-aggressive, but also a tad on the lazy side and quite petty. She likes to spend most of her day chatting with people, all done behind closed doors. And, she expects everyone to "read" her moods or her body language or the tone in her voice for all of her unspoken messages. Sometimes the big boss will come into her office when I am there to ask her something and she will be curt and sullen - one word answers, etc. - and when he leaves she will say something like "did you see how uncomfortable he was? He knows I am mad at him." Ugh!!! So, you never know from one day to the next if you've done or said something to upset her, and she would never raise it with you, she would just go into someone else's office, close the door and gossip for an hour or so. She is a very bizaare individual, and the big boss isn't happy with her performance or work ethic, but doesn't seem to want to do anything about it (even though she is only "acting" in the job (i.e, not permanent)). Makes for an uncomfortable work environment, that's for sure. I've started my job search, in spite of the fact that I really love the work I do and enjoy all of the other people I work with where I am. Working with this person will, in the long run, wear me down I am sure.

Thanks for listening to me vent.
