It is indeed interesting......"adding an AD to cover benzo withdrawal" well the AD people say add a benzo to cover the Antidepressant withdrawal? Weird. I would love to come off my xanax completely but after so many years find it next to impossible. went from 3mg to 1.75mg. and don't know if I can go further than that. My quality of life was horrible the whole year I was taking valium in place of xanax and weaning off the valium. Benzos can be helpful but they sure do turn on you when you try to withdraw! ever so slowly too, .03mg. liquid measured out still drove me crazy at 11mg. valium had to go back to xanax. :-(
