Today is my second day but so far it is better than expected.
The part that really concerns me is that I am having problems with my speech. It takes me longer to get words out. Before Geodon I always had some problems talking to people and I am just hoping it will not be as severe when I do it this time. It really makes relating to people difficult when you have problems with your speech.
The upside so far is that my sex drive is much stonger. Also, when I wake up, even after only 6 hours of sleep or so, I am WIDE awake. On Geodon, even after 8 hours of sleep I would be tired and it would sometimes take me 3 hours to fully wake up. I dont think this will last, it just seems like my system was so used to being sedated by the Geodon that without it, its in complete overdrive. And this is only going from 120 to 80 mgs!
Also on Geodon, it was PAINFUL when I would get tired. It would be a really weird psychotic type feeling when it would be time for me to go to bed. Last night when I got tired it was so good. I just felt really relaxed.
I also drank last night which was probably a bad idea. Today I am pretty depressed. Part of it was the alcohol and part of it is the withdrawal. I just know I was on 60 mgs of Geodon before and not depressed, so since I am on 80 now I know its just the withdrawal and not my "symptoms" returning. Still if I feel this depressed after I am off geodon I will no choice but to start taking it again and I dont want that to happen.
