> Man can I relate, I only feel normal when I smoke weed. I'm actually more clear headed and motivated when I smoke small amounts. For me it's the one substance I can't control though, more more more. So I've been abstaining for around 13 yrs with a few setbacks here and there.

I understand too, I'm stoned right now. But I felt a need to post. I took Vicodin for a long period, and it had a rough withdrawal. My doc gave me an ample supply of Xanax, which helped with the shakes and shivering and anxious feeling. The reason he gave me so much slack is because I had just gotten through having jaw surgery. He said I was dependent, but not addicted.So just to let you know how rough it was on someone who wasn't even addicted to it yet, I've never had withdrawals from meds like that before. I just waned to make sure you knew the downside, because it really sucked.
