As others have suggested, go talk to your doctor and professor as soon as possible and see what your options are. It would also be a good idea to go speak with one of the school counsellors to discuss ways of helping you study; I know you were sent from there to your doctor, but study skills are very much within their range of competence. There are ways to keep this from affecting your life too negatively, but you need to stop the cycle now before you hurt yourself more.
Whatever happens, take care of yourself above all. I know how pressing school can be, how it can seem like failure will blot out your future (in fact, just last week I was on the receiving end of a talk like this), but it can always wait if circumstances call for that. Your life can't, and you need to take care of that right now; otherwise, all the educational success in the world won't be enough.
Is there anything we can do to help?
