The reason why you want to have control of your own is becuase you think you will do a better job of it.
Why would you hand over the health and security of your people?
You would think that people would be more likely to look after their own.
You would think that the people in the US would want to make them in the US to ensure the standard is upheld.
Then ship the counterfeit off to the idiots overseas who surrounded themselves with cutthroats and backstabs.
