It is not based upon emotion at all. Its based upon simple recognition that there are those in elected positions who are actively attempting to pass laws that will deconstruct any part of the U.S. Constitution. That includes ANY of the Bill of Rights, such as the Second Amendment.
Because I see clear and very unapologetic efforts by the anti-gun lobby and anti-gun politicians, my intense dislike for these individuals is not based upon emotion.
Its based upon the simple fact, the simple realization that this group is attempting to strip my Constitutional rights and freedoms. Hence, I have no love for them and consider them traitors to the United States Constitution.
When I enlisted in the military in the late eighties, I had to swear in several times. In front of the U.S. flag. It was an oath or affirmation. It went like this..."I swear to defend the United Constitution against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC."
I consider certain anti-gunner politicians as domestic enemies of the United States Constitution, based on their past actions. I judge them by their past actions, by their past public speeches.
Get a backbone and take a stand or you will not have any Constitutional rights or freedoms decades down the road.
