I enjoyed reading about your grandmother & the ocean. Can you imagine dealing w/life w/o all the meds we have today? i guess alcohol was used for anxiety.I was too afraid to fly, ride a train,a boat, until I had cbt and klonopin. Now I do very well, and actually enjoy meeting all kinds of people on my travels.I never expected to get a thrill like the one i had the first time i cruised.I felt like i was 10,had so much energy, just stared and stared at the water! And when we sailed into blue, clear water-I just couldnt get over the beauty of it all,and sat there crying! But it was a happy cry!
