The same thing happens with me. And it's very difficult to adjust sleep. I've been using Xanax for the last 4 years, but I decided to stop because I feared long term effects. Now I'm not sure what to take.
How did you cope with it?
I happen to really enjoy reading Nietzsche. One of his thoughts that I shared (to delimit pain) was this:
"The thought of suicide is a powerful solace: by means of it one gets through many a bad night" (Nietzsche)
And this concept is great:
"Amor Fati 'Love Your Fate', which is in fact your life" (Nietzsche)
