What is the old saying? If you never made a mistake, it probably means you've never done much?

One thing I'm learning as I get older is that even I make mistakes, and that generally it is not the end of the world. And if I never make a mistake, or fail, I'd never have a chance to figure that out. I tell my son to see mistakes and failures as not only an opportunity to learn to do something better, but also as a chance to learn to deal with the inevitable mistakes and failures in life. (He does not generally appreciate my approach.)

So, you made a mistake, and it really was ok.

I rather feel like congratulating you.

But I'm guessing you wouldn't really appreciate that approach either?

:)
