~ ~ Yes. You know what. I don't know why I didn't see it so clearly before. I was 4 or 5. In this case it's me, not SO.
Thanks for this post Bayleaf. It helps me be compassionate with myself & I'm doing a lot of work on that childhood stuff at a different level lately, so having this issue come up fits right in.
