Yes-it definitely can. I've read about "carb anger" (google it) for people dieting w/low carbs. Not sure if that is what you are doing with WW. When I switched to a 100% glutenfree diet to see if it helped my son, which entails eliminating most carbs though you can have rice, I felt awful and miserable. Not saying this is what's going on with you, but if you've reduced your carbs drastically, suddenly, it's not good for mood.

I've read carbs provide the precursors to seratonin, or something like that (not 100% sure); people crave carbs for mood, etc.
