I have been following this and the whole thing makes me ill. I hear the strength in your posts, I'm that way, but to have to go up against a drunk and be afraid for your dogs must be difficult. Anyway I'm thinking of you, and your dogs.
You know whats ironic? I got my two dogs thinking they would protect me if needed, now all I think (we've had a lot of armed breakins lately at local stores, bank) is please don't hurt my dogs!!!! I wouldn't let them out if I thought someone was outside for instance. We do love our doggies!
Anyway, maybe I'm behind here but hope you've given some thought to that restraining order, pepper spray the hel* out of him if he comes near you!! He assaulted you and I hope he goes to jail where he belongs. Maybe you'll get lucky and he and the Mrs. will just hit the road. That is my wish for you this eve. (actually, no, 1st he goes to jail for two years then he hits the road.)
Actually......wish I knew someone in low places.
