One of my neighbor's dogs was out and as I was taking her back, another neighbor (who has a severe drinking problem and I avoid him at all costs) came out of his house..very drunk and was screaming "let the dog go" and staggered up to me and karate chopped me twice on my wrist. I was holding the dog's collar and the inside of my wrist was turned up. He hit me where the "pressure point" is. It hurt like hell. It still hurts.
I went to the police station and because I am a "senior", he will be hit with two charges instead of one. The police officer photographed my wrist and I filled out a 3 page statement. Once you have time to think about this sort of incident, lots of details come back to you.
I have always been afraid of Mr. ______ and now I am scared to death that he will do something to hurt my dogs. His backyard backs up to the side of my yard. (which I don't use because of his verbal abuse)
Our neighborhood is very, very quiet (the pitbull dog people slipped out oduring the "night" and we're all so happy) and it has always been calm unless Mr. ______ is drinking.
Pray for us..Fayeroe, Lita and Teddyjack. The police officers told me to scan the yard constantly and never let them go out without me. I will also crate Jack while I am gone awya from the house.
Any support is more than welcomed. My keyboard is broken and the only time I can post is either at my daughter's house or here at the library.
