I'm not actually interested because it's the latest trend. I don't know...it's something about the patience involved with stretching that is appealing to me. That and the control aspects.
I'm not the sort of person who does things just because they are "in" or "cool". I've never been cool. LOL
Stretching is a permanent modification so you shouldn't stretch if you don't want big holes when you're 80 years old.
I'm doing lots of research on this and I've heard and seen some pretty horrific earlobes from people who stretched too fast. I'm going to go really slowly. I'm going to stretch to 16 gauge and stay there for several months. 16 gauge isn't big, most piercers pierce at 14 gauge. (The lower the gauge, the bigger the diameter.)
