One thing that has helped me is to think of what other people say or do as being their problem, and not mine. That is, they might sigh or roll their eyes at me or what they see me doing, but what they are exhibiting is their OWN problem, and they're the ones who have to Get Over It. It does help me to remind myself that I can only be minding my own business, and not somebody else's.
