'pends on what the problem is.

Streaks/loss of shine often respond to vinegar. Wipe/spray it on (I have vinegar in a spray bottle for lots of cleaning issues), give it 20 minutes, and wipe/rinse it off. Repeat until shiny.

If you're impatient, make a watery paste with baking soda. This one also will work if you just leave it on the surface for a while, but elbow grease is generally added.

A little olive oil wiped around on a paper towel will give a polished look, after you get the surface grunge off with the above methods.
