Actually, the first ever virus was for a Mac. There are a few Mac virus's out there, its just te vast majority are for windows platforms, as thats what the vast majority of epople use.
You should still be using some form of vorus protection on a mac.. they also get spyware too remember, which can cause almost as many problems.
And, as an aside, before getting aspyware blocker, I would be infected the moment I visited myspace.
