A friend of mine had new white carpet in his condo. For Christmas he gave us each a pair of slippers--big Disney character's feet slippers. :) We kept them at his condo. In fact, I think he still has mine.
We didn't mind respecting his desire to keep his carpet clean, even if we thought choosing that color was unwise. I always tried to remember to wear slip on shoes when visiting, though.
