Good grief no. Their feet may be worse than their shoes. And what if they have an unattractive toe fungus and aren't wearing opaque socks? That might make them feel uncomfortable.
Now, if I had *disposable* socks and slippers, I might suggest it.
(Sorry, there was this whole big article on toenail fungus lately in the newspaper.)
