Wikipedia is such a great resource. I really hate to see people start vandalizing it like that. It's especially disturbing that someone in the media would encourage large numbers of people to vandalize it.
Plus I think he's missing the point. People can dispute articles on Wikipedia and make corrections. So false entries should eventually get corrected-- if enough honest & well-meaning writers participate. Sure some jokers can ruin it. That's the tradeoff of having it be an open document.
It just makes me sad, because to me it's one of the really great things on the internet, yet I think it will probably be vandalized more and more in the future.
