Hi, Jay. I'm sorry that our discussion struck you so hard.
Although I was concerned about the possible drift of the conversation, I wasn't sure what people meant, so I was mostly asking. In retrospect, I stated my points very vehemently, especially for here.
I spend a lot of time with lawyers, who don't take vehement arguments, even much more intense ones, personally. The training and the milieu is much more combatiive then many other places, so I tend to have a stance that comes from that.
Also, that weekend, I was particularly shocked about the situation in the MidEast, and therefore reacted more sharply than I would have liked.
If you're having a hard time now, don't leave here. I'm a bit quick on the draw sometimes, but I don't take disagreements personally, or mean them personally. I certainly didn't draw conclusions about you personally from the discussion.
Anyway, don't ever let me get in the way of your being here, even if we do disagree-- I wouldn't want that.
