Hmm...it's never bothered me, and here's an a different POV.
As the saying goes, one man's trash is another's treasure....so maybe where you see an annoying pattern, others see something else. Maybe to some, any length post, no matter how much *substance* it seems to have - or not have - is treasured because another Babbler noticed their thread and took time to respond at all. Maybe it doesn't always matter *what* they said, but the act of saying anything at all was enough?
At least that's my first thought on those who can post far more often than I can, and to many more threads.
And just as a friendly caution, I'm not sure it's polite or supportive to characterize another person's post, whether it be one-line or an entire page, as "rubbish." Even though you were careful not to name anyone, I think it would be fairly easy for others to think you're talking about them and feel put down.Respectfully,
