like lynn my thought is about loans - can your brother get one (or more if he's already got them)
Getting through school is such a HUGE expense, perhaps too much for someone with a growing family getting herself through school.

Why do you feel badly about sharing your woes? It's OK you know, it really is.
It's common for caretakers to feel that way though ;-)
