I could always tell precisely how much trouble I was in by the ORDER of the names my mother called me. Since I was always called by my middle name, if she called "Racer Mad X!" I was in trouble, but it wasn't too terribly bad.
When Mother called, "Mad Racer X!" that meant I was in deep doodoo, and had better start planning my most abject apology!
