I dont know all the news about hurricane Rita.
But i have heard that evacuation is in progress. I dont know really all the facts. My aunt called this morning and she said the winds are blowing hard.
Well God, all those people from New Orlands... in the astrodome.
Dallas and Fort worth can take more but we will have to open many abandoned buildings and hosptitals. The maximum capacity is 25000 but where going to have to make it more. more like 75000.
Is hurricane Rita a catorey 5? if it is, where are smashed.
Dallas is suppost to get some of the blow from the storm but in North Texas i dont know if its really going to be anything.
Many hospitals like St. Joseph's and Old Parkland hostpital which where build in the 1920's may have to be opened, its old, electricty is old circuts are proably rusted.
Anyone from Texas please post. AuntieMel arnt you from houston? TexasChic i know you said you where from Dallas/Fort Worth area. I live near Fort Worth, tarrant county. Southlake area.
