I have no ideas about IT or tech.....not entirely true...I know that universities are sometimes a good place to start...or law firms! Both because they pay less than in the real world.
Are you in NYC? If so, we should exchange an email about IT.
As for Arts Admin, yeah , that's tough...Have you done the internship thing? Someone I know built her resume that way and then got jobs that were better and better.
I titally understand about the audition....sometimes you just cannot do it!!!
