How about potato soup? (Well, it's actually Krumple Leves, but whose counting?)

Peel and cube about four potatoes, pop 'em into a pot with water to cover, add a boullion cube (or stock, if you have it on hand), hot paprika to taste, and a finely chopped onion. Boil until potatoes are tender, then lower the heat and add a tiny bit of flour to thicken. Then, when it's as thick as you like it, add about half a pint of sour cream. Or, if you're in the Commonwealth, add about 225g sour cream...)

Knorr Swiss makes the best boullion cubes, and this soup is the best thing in the world on cold, wet nights when served with a nice salad and a warm loaf of sourdough bread with butter.

Well, that's my comfort food! You can also add peas, capsicum, I guess you could add chopped tomato -- my mother probably would *l* -- or some other thing that I haven't ever thought of.

I hope your tummy gets better soonest! xoxo
