Becoming a picky eater

Posted by NikkiT2 on April 27, 2005, at 12:34:12

I've always had pride in the fact that I'm not a fussy or picky eater. I was bought up to try everything, and if I didn't like something, it was dished up regularly till I learnt to like it!

mashed potato and sausages have been my only real dislikes..

until now..

This stupid stomach thing has caused me to become a really fussy eater.. And my husband is getting really angry over this. We take it in turns to cook.. I cook one week, he cooks the next.. But all I fancy is "comfort food".. Tonight he has bought a tomato quiche (eurgh), and a pasta pesto salad.. I can't think of anything I fancy less int he world right now. Pesto suddenly makes me retch (seems really bitter and I can't handle bitter stuff), and the tomatoes in the quiche all slimy..

I hate this, as, like I said, I have never been a fussy eater. And the husband only has a selected collection of things he cooks *l* Either I give up the stuff I know how to cook without thinking so he can do those, or I put up with hardly eating on the week he cooks..

Grrrrr!!! Anyone got any DEAD easy vegetarian recipes for me?? *L*

Nikki x
