I love the Beatles too. I especially love John Lennon's work. I have just about everything he did after the Beatles broke up. I think Paul did some brilliant work during the Beatles but I'm not wild about his work post-Beatles other than "Maybe I'm Amazed." George did some incredible work too. I loved "All Things Must Pass".
I feel the same way you do about hearing the music of my youth. It definitely brings me back to happier, more hopeful times. That can be bittersweet though.
