> Ok, I know I have a LOT to learn about the Beatles, but why would "She Loves You" be on the same release as "Hey Jude", wasn't SLY a VERY early song for them? And wasn't Hey Jude (the album) originally supposed to be "Get Back"? I also didn't know that "Hey Jude" was really called "Hey Jude (The Beatles Again)", does it actually say that on the CD?I was mistaken (a relatively common event) regarding the album "Hey Jude". "She Loves You" was not one of the older songs they chose for it.
The album "Hey Jude" was hastily put together and released in an effort to raise money for the Apple label. It included some earlier stuff to take up space and bring the playing time up to 33 minutes. I think it was a pretty tacky thing to do. It was concieved to be a sort of compilation of songs not appearing on any US Capital albums. Unfortunately, they left out too many hits to have justified this claim. The album was to be named "The Beatles Again" but was changed at the last minute.

3. Paperback WriterThere was a project called "Get Back", but I don't remember very much about it. It's too bad that The Beatles chose Phil Spector to produce the "Let It Be" album. He ruined it by overlaying the original recordings with orchestral and choral dubs. I think this was what inspired Paul to produce "Let It Be... Naked" recently. I would love to hear it.
