Well, actually lifelong Manhattanites like myself ARE bloody smug. We kind of look at the rest of the country as a quaint province. Just the way it goes. There are some other cities I love in the U.S., especially New Orleans (most "European" city in America that I've encountered) and San Francisco. And overseas, I'd really enjoy seeing Tokyo some day -- if I win the lottery. From what I've heard from friends who've been there, it's a bit like NYC on crystal meth. And I love the trippy pop culture. Atticus
