My postpartum follow up appointment was a joke too. They said they would but me in too see a psychiatirist on a different base stat. To them stat means I will recieva a call within 24 hours and be seen within 48. BUT they said all they perscribe for post partum patiens is paxil or zoloft or prozac. I am interested in non of those. I had horrible results with paxil. And anti depressants can take weeks to work, time I don't have. My husband is so aftraid to leave me alone with the baby he had to take off work. And since he is military that is big, his command cheif paid us a visit to talk to me but by that time I ate my two remaining kolonopins and went to bed. I just got up and called the mental health clinic and told them I was seriously losing it and I needed immediate help, I also told them the clinic on the other base will only persribe, Paxil, prozac, or zoloft. They said that is not what I need at all. I need benzos. OK well why the hell am I being pushed aside. I have ANOTHER appointment tomorow morning with my family doctor, this is last resort, so I am rasing heck. If this doesn't get me the help I need his command section cheif is going to get involved. SO hopefully this gets straightened out tomorrow. If not I am buying a ticket off this freaking island in the middle of nowhere and going back home where I can see civilian doctors who actually take you seriously... thanks for the support, sorry to keep complaining...
