> Think of jello with ice cream is the pumped-up-with-sugar equivalent to jello with whipped cream.

<<<<<< Oh ok, that does make more sense, but funny that to me, whipped cream seems sweeter than Jello. (The sweeter the thing it's combined/eaten with, the blander Jello seems to me. It's never satisfied my sweet tooth at all actually, and to me it's a waste of time, but an entire planet can't be wrong I guess.)

And as whipped cream is so much lighter and airier, I can see it behaving better on top of Jello, but maybe the misbehavior is half the fun. The Jello-ice cream combination presents an interesting study in contrasting textures, weights, viscosity, bouyancy and opportunity to chase things around the bowl. Gee, I should work in advertising huh? Yum yum, when do we eat? I'm being spoc-with-a-K today, finding this most illogical (tongue-in-cheek of course).

> ...Which I didn't think strange at all. What I thought was strange was the UK version of a Crunch bar. Instead of puffed rice it has corn flakes.

<<<<< Now, to me that doesn't seem strange because any sweet or neutral crunchy baked good combined with chocolate or the like appeals to me. As a kid, I used to make "Rice Krispy" treats with any cereal we had on hand, so I guess I acclimated myself.

In the final analysis (and analysis was *really* important here :), I am quite an un-picky eater and all of the above would surely make my cut just fine. Well, I do find some things too pungent or to have origins too creepy to bother trying. But I'm not one of those types who are grossed out by arbitrary things like raisins. You know the type, always rolling things around on their plates and picking stuff out. (Ok ok, I know that used here, "arbitrary" is arbitrary.)

Sweets are rarely one of the things open to interpretation as being actually gross, just..."too sweet" or unhealthy for some tastes. Now, if ya wanna talk organ meats and things that bring to mind something rotten or not unlike some bodily secretion, we may have a debate on our hands! ;- )
