Yeah, it is, because if the public demanded it, the networks would carry it. I just feel like this president has had such serious, DIRECT impact on the lives of Americans, that we'd want to know what he's up to. His policy decisions have impacted our pocketbooks, and sent off people's brothers and sisters and spouses and kids to war.
I know that all the news shows are carrying sound bites today, but it's different to actually *listen* to the speech and *feel* what the tone is, if he's trying to hide something, or if he's sincere.
I mean, he mispronounced Abu Ghraib prison. Is that one of his regular word mangling incidents, or was it done on PURPOSE to further distance himself from the treatment of prisoners there?
Plus, I wanted to see if that bike accident really screwed up his face. :-)
