(((Rainee))) I have been in that same place. I end up breaking the time down into more manageable sizes. I can't fathom how I will get through the day, so I concentrate on the next 10 minutes. What can I do to get through those? I breathe, I cry, I ruminate. Then I force myself to move - but just for 10 minutes.

Then I do it again. 10 more minutes. If I actually find something I can do (like sort laundry) I do that and take satisfaction in being able to do that one thing. I really have to make it a manageable time frame or else I feel too overwhelmed.

The day seems endless, but you get through it. And when the deadness and leaden feelings eventually fade (and you know they will, Rainee!) this bad time will fade away too. So that you will hardly be able to imagine it, much less remember.
