oh, it's music to my ears.
the cure, octo. you're bringing up old memories, best left unmentioned. did you see they recently released a b-side compilation? awwwww.... i used to listen to a letter to elise on repeat over and over again. and boys don't cry. plastic passion. f-i-r-e i-n c-a-i-r-o.
alice in chains, i prefer grind more though. what's that say about me, i wonder? i'll think about that for a while.
i've been listening to ryan adams alot (nice touch fayeroe [did i spell it right?]) i think gold's my favorite, but i have yet to get his first album. my sister (my soul mate) found his album laying out one day and shrieked "oh my god! you listen to brian adams?" i tried to explain they are different people, but she didn't understand. finally, i led her to believe they are one in the same. perhaps i should pick up a brian adam's album? maybe it's a sign? maybe not.
i've also been listening to jack johnson again. something about brushfire fairytales is getting to me lately. and i've been picking up dave matthews again for some reason. i get into these moods, where i'll neglect an artist, then for some reason pick them up again. dave's been one of those recently.
tori and bjork: they're always worth listening to. tori sings only to me, i swear. she told me so herself.
jj cale: that's right folks. "coincidence or not, the phrase 'laid back' crept into common use right around the time of jj cale's first album." hmmm. [and it makes me mad that eric clapton rips off his songs and no one notices. hmph.]
widespread panic, phish, micheal jackson, g love, and ween: always good to listen to. (and of course primus)
about ween: how could you not love ween? honestly, i absolutely love chocolate and cheese. nothing's better than music that just makes you think about well, nothing. and sometimes something as well. ween's great.
