Ahhh..yes..well, my young student (j/k ;-)...we do have to be prepared to lose if we fall in love. Why, you ask? Well, nothing lasts forever...even the best relationships...marriages...friendships...and even if it’s not just separating from the other person, eventually on or the other will die. We ‘tis just mortals, and I’ve lost some very close people to mortality at a young age over the past 5-10 years...you may have read my story elsewhere on here...so that is why it is such a prevalent concept to me...as I imagine many others. “There is never love without pain...”. I’ve been working hard over the years trying to deal with these things, after I lost so much in a short period of time...and it’s been the battle of a lifetime. But, I would have spit at myself if I thought this even 5 years ago, it *has* taught me..made me, somehow...a better person, I believe.
