I've given up guessing what they're going to do. :(

I eventually admitted to my therapist that I googled him and did a drive by of his house (his home address is printed on his receipt, and he lives within a mile of me). But only after I had mentioned similar incidents from Babble and measured his response carefully. While he was carefully measuring his response because he guessed it was possible that I had done some of what I was mentioning. :) It was a nice little dance that ended well. I now have no secrets from him - except maybe this thread. His attitude was a gentle understanding that clients sometimes wanted more connection with their therapists, and that that was understandable and not a terrible sin.

But I have also heard of times when therapists (usually ones who weren't computer savvy) were freaked out by it.

So I couldn't even venture to guess. Perhaps you could feel your way slowly. I know, I know. Not your style. (affectionate smile)

I'm still a bit concerned about that late night call, and his admitting that he wished he could afford therapy though. Just be careful, Karen. I would hate to see a terrific person like you get hurt.
