<<I don't know where you live, but large businesses have Employee Assistance Programs that help employees with counseling and substance abuse. In general, if you seek help there, it's not (supposedly) held against you. Can you ask your human resources/personnel people about that? That type of conversation is supposed to remain confidential.
I would like to think a health care facility would be open-minded about something like that. See what HR says and take it from there.
