Destroyo's appointment with Dr. Stupid number dozen-some-odd:
Destroyo: Is it possible to be severely depressed and well-adjusted at the same time?
Dr. Stupid: Yes!
You THINK he'd at least have the decency to lie:-)
His answer is kind of indicative of the problem that I perceive with the shrink perspective. Sometimes I suspect them of "schadenfreude".
If my rants seem tiresomely familiar to those of you who've been a' Dr. Bob-ing for a while, forgive me. For a little while some time ago I posted to one of the Dr. Bob forums under another name. In those days I had medication inquiries, but now I've already tried just about everything (without success), so these days I'm just playing the clown or blowing off a little steam.
